The engine stores formulas and evaluates only what is on screen, so a Grid behaves like the spreadsheet you already know while staying inside the project it belongs to.
488 functions, and the formula is what is stored
The engine keeps the formula, never a pre-computed number, so a change upstream flows through every cell that depends on it. Type a function name, or find it on the ribbon's Formulas tab, and both come from the same catalogue.

A Grid holds up to 40 worksheets and a formula can read across them, so Labour and Materials can roll into Budget without a copy of either.

Fast without a library
Only the rows and columns in view are rendered and only the visible cells are evaluated, so a worksheet can address 50,000 rows without the page paying for all of them.
